Dam Dam Soup Noodles (Shanghai Style)
Serves 2, Not Kosher
Ingredients
- Fresh Minced Pork - 2.5 oz
- Diced Black Mushroom - 1 piece
- Mashed Garlic - 0.5 teaspoon
- Crushed Peanuts - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped Spring Onion - 1 teaspoon
- Shangai Noodles - 1 packet
Seasoning
- Crushed Yellow Bean Paste - 0.5 teaspoon
- Seaseme Paste - 1 teaspoon
- Peanut Butter - 0.5 teaspoon
- Soy Chili Paste - 0.25 teaspoon
- Clear chicken soup - 6 oz
Method
- stir fry minced pork , diced black mushroom with mached garlic for 1 minute
- mix seasoning well then braise with the other ingredients and add soup reducing on a low heat until it becomes "rich"
- boil noodles in water , drain
- pour sauce over noodles, top with crushed peanuts,chopped onions and a little seasame oil (if you have any)
- serve with a chinese movie...
And the fall back if there is no local chinese deli near you is to consider using a suitable prepared seasoning mix in a packet or a jar such as the Amoy Roasted peanut Satay Stir Fry Sauce
